Partnering with Mexpro, who underwrites device insurance for Progressive, the team was tasked with redesigning their existing flow. The focus was to create an easier and faster experience that was co-branded to match Progressive’s digital brand standards.

Experiential improvements
UX improvements were made to the existing flow to enhance comprehension and clarity around policy selection throughout the purchase funnel.
By allowing users to select their timeframe on the first page of the flow, the number of choices is reduced on the policy page, allowing for quicker conversion and decision making.

Streamlining tier choice
By reducing selection tiers from 2 (standard and extended) to 1, more clarity is created around the pricing difference of various carriers. The layout distilled 9 buttons down to one actionable “continue” button that is conditional on a length of trip and carrier selection.
