Mada is a mobile application that makes shopping for clothing easier than ever. The app generates shoppable outfits based on an introductory questionnaire and learns the user’s style preferences over time.

Launch a minimum viable product that distinguishes itself within the e-commerce fashion space. Design a framework that allows the app to scale with a growing business and user base.

Project Goal

Lead Designer working with founder for feedback. Key roles include branding, wire-framing, UX/UI design, and prototyping.

Responsibilities

Unique personal styling

Users are able to purchase single items as well as complete outfits like they would from any online retailer, even when the items come from different stores.

If the user wants to build a completely new outfit around one of the items they like, a simple press and hold action allows a new outfit to be generated. This interaction empowers users to have a say in their style pairings while still having the professional guidance and curation of the Mada team.

Companion website

A microsite that outlines the main function and selling points of the application. Visitors are prompted to download from the app store and investors are given a way to inquire about funding opportunities.

Project Outcome

A fully functioning and engaging minimum viable product. The brand and founder were featured in several notable online publications such as Business Insider, Entrepreneur Magazine, Glossy, and more.
